Erin Fitzpatric - Director of Bands

Erin Fitzpatric joined the Taylor High School band staff in the summer of 2015. Prior to teaching at Taylor, Mr. Fitzpatric was director of bands at Dixie High School in New Lebanon, Ohio, and a brass instructor for the Lakota East Marching Band. Mr. Fitzpatric currently teaches the high school band, marching band, jazz ensemble, 6th grade band, 7th grade band, 8th grade band, and guitar class.

As a trumpeter, Mr. Fitzpatric actively performs around the greater Cincinnati area. He performed full time in the shows at Kings Island during the summers of 2013, 2014, and 2015. He enjoys performing in his New Orleans jazz group, The Hot Magnolias.

Education:
Mr. Fitzpatric is a Cincinnati native and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) in 2014, where he earned a Bachelor of Music Education with a jazz concentration.

Christina Camardo- Assistant Band Director and General Music

Christina Camardo joined the Taylor High School band staff in the summer of 2017. Ms. Camardo currently teaches elementary general music for grades K-2 and is the assistant band director for the 6th grade band, 7th grade band, 8th grade band, and high school marching band. Prior to joining the Three Rivers Staff, Ms. Camardo taught general music and band at St. Jude School from 2012-2017.


Ms. Camardo also performs around the Cincinnati area as a member of the Ohio Military Band where she plays clarinet.

Education:
Ms. Camardo is a Cincinnati native and graduated from The University of Kentucky in 2012 where she earned her Bachelors of Music in Music Education with a clarinet concentration. While at The University of Kentucky, Ms. Camardo served as the Head Drum Major/Field Commander of the marching band. She also was an active member of the UK Pep Band. 

Zack Strong - Visual Design/Instructor

Zack Strong joined the Taylor High School band staff in the spring of 2017.  Mr. Strong recently completed his tenure with the Glen Este High School Marching Band where he was the assistant director and show designer for five years.  He has been working with marching arts programs since 2009 in Kentucky and Ohio.  Mr. Strong has also been a member of the visual staff for local programs including Turpin High School and Finneytown High School.  Mr. Strong is the designer and instructor of the visual programs for the Yellow Jacket Marching Band and Guard.

Training and Certification:

Mr. Strong is a trained adjudicator in ISSMA, KMEA, and serves on panels for Tristate Marching Arts and the Mid-East Performance Association during the winter seasons. Mr. Strong was selected to teach with the George N. Parks Drum Major Academy in 2012; a renowned program that trains hundreds of student conductors every year.  He has also served as a guest clinician for local programs aiding with their visual methods and color guards.
